Pictures
The school picture envelope will be sent home today. All envelopes are due back no later than Monday, Sept. 30. Envelopes are to be returned even if you do not plan to order pictures.

Homecoming Week Schedule for 2013
·All students must adhere to “Spirit Day” dress code during Homecoming
Week.
·Additionally, students may wear hats (within the daily theme) and flip
flops during Homecoming Week.
·Students not participating in dress up days must be in uniform.
·Face paint and colored hair are not allowed except where designated.
Monday, September 30 - Cowboys & Indians
Must be fully clothed;
face paint OK; NO WEAPONS.
Tuesday, October 1- Hunters & Hillbillies
Must be fully clothed; face paint OK;
NO WEAPONS or Tobacco cans
Wednesday, October 2 - Crazy Class Color Day
Uniform Bottoms (skirts, shorts, or
pants) 6th grade color is blue
Powder puff game Jr. vs. Sr. @ 6:30- followed by
Bonfire for TSA students & families
Thursday, October 3 - Character Day -
1:30-2:00 - School Wide “Rock the Cats” Parade
on the track;
crowning Homecoming King
Friday, October 4 –
Tattnall Day- (Blue, Gold, or Homecoming t-shirts)
2:00 - All School Pep

Supplies
Many of the pencils that students are using no longer have erasers. Please check with your child to see if erasers are needed. A good idea is to purchase an eraser that can be kept in the pencil bag. This is especially needed for math class.

Homecoming Shirts
Friday is the deadline to order “Rockin The Cats” homecoming t-shirts. Order forms are available online or in any of the offices. Shirts are $15 each and will be delivered to classrooms by Thursday, October 3rd.

Hats For Hope
Student Council is again sponsoring Hats for Hope Day, which will take
place Friday, September 13 in conjunction with our scheduled Spirit Day. Students who make a $1 donation may wear a
hat to school that day in addition to their Spirit Day attire. All money will go to Jay’s Hope Foundation
and will be donated in honor
of TSA student Abby Wilson.
Let’s strive to be 100% to show our support of Jay’s Hope and Abby!

Even though it is still several weeks away, Mrs. Howd wanted to let you know the dress for Grandparents' Day this year. It is:
~Blue jeans (jeans – not skirts)
~White shirt (no
words)
~Bandana around
their neck (any color is fine)
~Cowboy boots are permitted – but not required
