FIELD TRIP

You have one more form to fill out for our trip.  We neglected to send the "Medical Release" form earlier.  WE MUST HAVE THIS BEFORE WE LEAVE. Please return this with your child tomorrow, Friday, April 19. It is attached to a letter with last minute details about the trip.

Reminders for week of April 15 - 19

1. Field Day permission slip/shirt order forms along with the $10 are past due but if you haven't turned them in yet we must have them turned in by Tuesday, April 16.
2. There are still a few folks who haven't turned in all of the forms for our Driftwood trip.  We must have these by Tuesday, April 16.  We have some finalizing of rides that we need to complete.
3. Thursday meetings:

             5:00 chaperone meeting in 6th grade room 503. All chaperones must attend!
             5:30 meeting with Dr. Drake and Mrs. Clay about rising 7th grade schedules

ITBS Week

                                                  
                                           


Sixth grade will be taking ITBS from Monday - Wednesday of next week.  Please, please have your child here each morning by 8:10. We will be starting on time.  Students must have two  #2 pencils.  We need to get started as quickly as possible. They may still bring a water bottle and a healthy snack each day.

Don't forget we need your final Driftwood payment along with the completed forms from Driftwood.  We will be sending home another set of forms Monday for you to fill out.  We apologize ahead of time, but the school must have these.  If you are not going with your child, you may want to talk with a parent that is going about your child riding with them on the trip.  If you don't know anyone, no problem. We will  place them in an available car. This is one of the things you will need to put on the forms coming home Monday.

Re-enrollment is here!  Please have your form and check in by Monday, April 15th to save $50.00! The earlier you enroll, the easier it is to plan for the following year.  Thank you very much!

Welcome back!  We hope you had a wonderful Easter Break. We will send signed papers home tomorrow, Tuesday.  Also, please be sure to check the notes in the folder.  We will have a letter about ITBS Testing next week and several pages about our upcoming field trip to Epworth By the Sea. All final deposits are due Monday, April 8, along with the forms that will be attached. You must fill out all of these forms.  We have to turn these into the camp.  Again, we ask you to please turn in both your final deposit and your forms by Monday, April 8.  One other important detail.  We will have a chaperone meeting on Monday, April 15.  If you are going with us you must attend.

FRIDAY

We will have a pizza party on Friday during lunch.  We are asking each student to bring $2 ASAP,  Thursday at the latest, so we can order the pizza.  They each need to bring  their own drink.

Sixth Grade News

 Important Information for you:

• If you didn't come in for a conference your child will have his/her report card in their homework folder, Thursday.
•  Friday, March 15 will be a Spirit Day for missions.  Anyone who brings a $1 may dress in jeans and TSA t-shirt.
•  Your final payment for our trip to Driftwood will be due when we return from Spring Break, April 2.
• Be sure to turn in those box tops by Friday, March 15.  The contest ends on that day, but that doesn't mean you need to stop saving the Box Tops.  We will always collect these.
• Remember re-enrollment for next year is now under way.  Your re-enrollment fee is less if you re-enroll by April 15th.  Also, if you know anyone looking for a great school encourage them to come look at TSA.  Did you know our tuition for grades k-5th has actually gone DOWN for next year and for 6th - 12th it has stayed the same!!!!  There is no other school in town who can make this claim, "A Great Education for Less!"  Please pass the word.

Spring Musical and other March News

• The 4th - 6th grade will have their spring musical, "On the Radio," Tuesday, March 12, at 6:30.  We sent out an email today concerning the costumes. Please check your emails.  Before the program there will be a Trojan Legion Meeting at 6:00.

• We will be dismissing early on March 13 for parent/teacher conferences. If you feel you need a conference and we have not contacted you by Wednesday, March 6, please let us know.  We will be glad to set one up for you.
•  Spring Break March 25 - April 1
